Sakhi Shrine (Rawza-e Sakhi)
The Sakhi Shrine, located in the Kart-e Sakhi area of Kabul, is one of the city’s most beloved and spiritual landmarks. According to popular belief, it is either the place where Imam Ali (peace be upon him) once passed or where a relic of him is buried.
During Nowruz and Ashura, thousands of pilgrims from across the country visit this sacred site. The shrine’s blue dome, traditional tilework, and ornate decorations make it one of the most beautiful religious structures in Kabul. Its cultural, spiritual, and social importance plays a significant role in the life of the city’s residents.
