Balkh Caravanserai (Gadam Balkh) Mazar-i-Sharif
The Balkh Caravanserai, also called Gadam Balkh, is a historic building connected to the Silk Road. These caravanserais were constructed in different periods, particularly during the Timurid and Safavid eras, to provide rest and services for travelers and trade caravans.
