Darul Aman Palace and Darul Aman Hill Kabul

The Darul Aman Palace was constructed in the early 20th century, during the reign of King Amanullah Khan, in the Darul Aman area, southwest of Kabul. It was intended to be a symbol of modernization and progress for Afghanistan.
Built in European neoclassical style, the palace features grand halls and elegant architecture. Though it suffered damage multiple times over the decades, it has been restored in recent years.
Today, Darul Aman Palace houses the Ministry of Information and Culture and stands as one of Afghanistan’s most important national and historical landmarks.
