Historical Stone Bridges of Bamiyan Bamiyan

Along the ancient trade routes of Bamiyan, several stone bridges with traditional architecture still survive, some dating back to the Timurid era. One notable example, locally called Shinkot Bridge, features stone arches and traditional design, historically used to cross the valley’s rivers.
These bridges exemplify the heritage of Afghan engineering and architectural ingenuity and remain functional in some areas even today.
