Menar-e Esteqlal Kabul

The Minaret of Independence was built in 1919 by the order of King Amanullah Khan, following Afghanistan’s victory in the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Located in Bagh-e Bala, this tall minaret was designed as a symbol of national freedom and awakening.
Its structure is decorated with historical inscriptions and simple yet meaningful ornaments, making it one of Kabul’s most notable landmarks and photography spots.
