Timur Shah Durrani Mausoleum

The Mausoleum of Timur Shah Durrani — son of Ahmad Shah Durrani and the second king of Afghanistan — is located near the Kabul River, surrounded by open green spaces. The building, featuring a large dome and thick baked-brick walls coated with plaster, was started during the reign of his son.
Although the tomb suffered damage over time, it has been restored in recent years and now stands as one of Kabul’s significant national and historical landmarks.
